Read Instructions properly :o(

Hi there Crafters...
If your new to crafting or been crafting for a while, when it comes to INSTRUCTIONS on items you have not used before pay attention lol lol ... 
I was so thrilled to receive some molds I bought online, finally its the weekend and so thought get some Fimo clay out and get molding, I have a face and a new born baby and a heart, ready to use for my altered art ( I thought ) so I molded and pressed the clay and WOW they turned out brilliant with great detail ... so off to the oven pre heated of course
BUT did I get the temp right NO NO NO ... lol 30 Min's on Burn time, I put them in at gas mark 7 and should have been at 1 or even half ....... So the house was filled with smoke and 
it smelled of burnt plastic Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh .... Oh well lesson learnt, read the instructions carefully in the future ...here are my results after burning them, still might be able to use them, ha ha ha Ya Live n Learn. :o) Happy Crafting.

Thursday Craft Day !

Hi Crafters, well another fun filled Thursday crafting with friends, its now our usual spot every two weeks ...... Today Aj helped his Nan to make a small box and a card but spent most of the day doing cross stitch. Kerry was having ago at some foil art alos showed her finished doodle which turned out great.
 I made an exploding box my first one, I must say it was great fun to make and was inspired by Elain and instructions on her blog http://magic-boxes.blogspot.co.uk  Well worth a look shes a very talented woman.

Well I thought I would do two more pieces of foil art today one for myself and the other was made from a stamp by Gorjuss for my niece Olivia, its so addictive and stops me getting on with things Im supposed to be doing, so after these I am on hold for a while.
 For anybody not sure how to do this it really is easy and dose not take too long for great results: 

• Take a Tag or a piece of card, size is up to you.
• Cover with Foil Tape, you can buy this from a hard wear store.
• Use a ball tool to draw any design you want, or stamp onto a piece of paper and then use the stamped design to trace over, you can add details later.
• When your happy with the design you have created, use black Acrylic paint cover the whole area and then wipe off to reveal the finished piece.
• Most of all Practice and have fun .. Experiment

Hi there all you crafters, I`m sorry I have not posted in a while but I do have some news.
Excited and nervous I have been asked to be a guest designer for Sandee & Amelis Steam Punk Challenges  http://sandee-and-amelie.blogspot.de/ I cant tell you too much about it or about the theme but if you keep an eye out on their blog all will become clear. I hope what I have produced will inspire you guys to have a go.
Meanwhile I will be posting up a couple of tags tomorrow or even the start of another 3D project for my Mother, so hope to catch up with you guys sometime Sunday.

London By MoonLight Tag.

Well I decided to design a Tag using mixed media called London by Moon Light, I love the Indigo Blu stamp, Disstress inks, Metal magic, Foil tape, Black acrylic paint, Crackle glaze, Rub n buff, and Glossy accents.Trying to mix things up a little. Would be happy to know what you guys think.

Crafty afternoon

Well Crafty fans, today has been a good day enjoying good company and creating.
AJ busy with some cards and helping his Nan with some techniques and Kerry had an afternoon trying some Zendoodles, its been a while since we had our crafting team together, we usually meet up once every two weeks and share what we have learned or help each other with a project. PERFECT FUN ........

Foil Art

Well I enjoyed doing another piece of foil art, this one was inspired by an old english film, Oliver Twist, this is my spin on the character Bill Sykes ... 
I now have to get on with some projects that have been bought, a couple of photo albums and a fold out album themed as Norhtern Soul, adding some venues and albums + some favourite songs.
